We schedule appointments in half-hour increments and, at the 15-minute mark, we round up to the next half-hour to ensure adequate time for quality service. What is gratuity free?
At Keenan Salon, we believe great service shouldn’t come with pressure or guesswork. That’s why we’re gratuity-free — so you can enjoy your experience without worrying about tipping or doing math at checkout. No awkward moments, no hidden fees. Just honest pricing and top-tier care, start to finish.
Can I still tip my stylist?
Absolutely! While Keenan Salon is completely gratuity-free, if you feel like giving your stylist an extra thumbs-up for their fantastic work, you can always express your appreciation by referrals or even a positive review online. It’s all about spreading good vibes and ending tip culture!

What is the Bloom Team at Keenan Salon?
The Bloom Team is a group of licensed junior stylists at Keenan Salon who are still in training. They’re gaining hands-on experience and growing their skills under the mentorship of our senior stylists. When you book with a Bloom Team member, you’ll receive professional salon services—sometimes at a discounted rate—while helping support the next generation of talent in a real salon setting.
What is a gender-affirming haircut, and why do you price by time instead of gender?

At Keenan Salon, a haircut is a haircut. We don’t believe in attaching gender to styles—short hair isn’t automatically “men’s,” and long hair isn’t “women’s.” We price based on time, because that reflects the work involved—not who you are.

We also don’t want to box our clients in with outdated titles. Styles shouldn’t be limited by labels. We create custom looks without boundaries, because your hair should reflect you—not a category.
